Frequently asked questions about Bernedoodle portraits
Will he come out tricolour, or does that get lost in a curly coat?
It comes from your photo. The black, white and rust arrangement is inherited from the Bernese side and varies enormously between individuals, so the markings your dog actually has are the ones rendered.
His face is all hair. What do I do before photographing?
Brush or trim enough that both eyes are visible, then shoot at his height. A shaggy face from above is the single most common unusable photo we see for this breed.
His coat is wavy rather than tightly curled. Does that matter?
It is rendered as it is, which matters more here than for most breeds. Doodle coat texture ranges from nearly straight to tight curl even within a litter, so the breed average would be wrong for most individual dogs.
Is a bigger size worth it for a large dog?
