No, and separate photos usually work better. Send one clear photo of your child in motion and one of the dog running or playing. We compose the scene ourselves, so the two photos do not need to be from the same moment.
What do you do with photos of children?

Can it be a cat instead of a dog?
Yes. The composition adapts: the cat is caught mid dash rather than mid gallop, weaving close to the child's feet instead of directly behind them, which reads just as true to how a cat actually follows someone.
