Ice Cold is built like a jewellery advertisement rather than a pet portrait, and that inversion is the whole idea. In a diamond campaign the model is not the subject. The model is the setting the stone is displayed in. So here the frame comes in close on the throat and the jaw, the light is hard and specular, and every facet throws its own pinpoint of white.
Around the neck sits a graduated tennis necklace, and with it a fine pendant carrying your pet's name. Behind them is nothing at all: a sweep of pure black or deep charcoal, unlit, so there is no room and no horizon and nothing competing with the sparkle.
The lighting is the opposite of flattering portrait light. A single hard source from above and to one side rakes across the coat so the fur at the edge of the face lights up like filament while the far side falls away into black. It is the treatment a watch or a ring gets, and it turns an ordinary coat into something that looks lit from inside.
This is the most restrained style in the Luxury line and, for a lot of people, the most expensive looking. There is no crown, no clothing and no set. One animal, one piece of jewellery, and a great deal of darkness.

My pet has a dark coat. Will anything show?
Yes, and often better than a pale coat does. The hard side light is what separates the animal from the black behind it, so a dark coat gets a bright rim along the head and whiskers while the rest sinks into shadow. That contrast is the effect the style is built around.
Can I have it without the name on the pendant?
Yes. When your first versions arrive, say so and we will run the necklace alone, with no lettering anywhere in the artwork. Everything else about the style stays the same.
